BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Azerbaijani regional (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan registered 35,646 marriages from January through July 2022, Trend reports via State Statistic Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, the number of registered divorces amounted to 8,862.
The number of marriages per 1,000 people increased from 5.2 to 6.1, while divorces decreased from 1.7 to 1.5. compared to the same period the previous year.
