The Azerbaijani national team wrapped up the competition with 2 medals.
Zidan Humbatov secured victory in the World Cup as part of our team. Competing in the 51 kg category, our boxer defeated Russian Arseniy Jiltsov 3:2 (29:28, 30:27, 28:29, 28:29, 29:28) in the final and was awarded the gold medal.
In the final, our team's Bilalhabashi Nazarov (48 kg) faced Tamta Briyesh (India). Despite a hard-fought match, the team member earned the silver medal after losing 2:3 (28:29, 27:30, 28:29, 29:28, 29:28).
Meanwhile, 245 boxers from 22 countries participated in the competition.
