Next meeting of the Islamic Conference Organization (ICO) member-countries will be held in Baku in 2006. The Ministry of Youth Sports and Tourism a recent resolution has been taken recently in the last meeting of the ICO Foreign Ministers, Trend reports.
All 57 ICO member-countries adopted Azerbaijan’ proposal on the organization of the next meeting of the FM and Tourism Ministers in Baku.
Along with the development of tourism in the Islamic countries the agenda of the gathering also includes the issues on termination of the cultural heritage during the armed conflict in the territory of the member-countries. Azerbaijan will put forward the issue on annihilation of the historic monuments of Azerbaijan in the territory under Armenian occupation.
