The Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry (ME) submitted a number of proposals on implementation of the state program on improvement of the material and technical basis of secondary schools to the Cabinet of Ministers, the ME told Trend.
The proposals concern financial mechanisms of schools computerization. The first stage envisions computerization of secondary schools in Baku and Sumgayit, to hold trainings for information technologies teachers of these schools. Computers will be purchased and allocated to schools till the end of the calendar year.
According to the report from the Ministry, all school students will be provided with textbooks free of charge on the account of the allocated budget means (42 billion manats) before the start of the school year, the Ministry said.
