Standpoints in regard to the amnesty draft will be voiced at the meeting of the task force of human rights activists and state bodies to be held shortly, a task force member, a human rights defender Murad Sadeddinov told Trend.

He noted, the draft amnesty had been developed and submitted to the task force by the human rights defenders. State bodies officials will voice their opinions on the document at the meeting, supposedly on 2 or 3 August.

According to Sadeddinov, in case of the draft’s positive appraisal by the President’s executive office and the Milli Mejlis (MM, Parliament), it will be adopted and submitted to the Parliament for discussions.

Sadeddinov also noted, one of the draft developers is a task force member, chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on the state building and legal policy Ali Huseynov. В"Therefore, there is no discontent from MM members on the amnesty in the country.

Human rights defenders are also supporters of the passing the law on amnesty by the Parliament. At the next meeting, officials from the President’s executive office will voice their attitude to the issue”, the human rights activist noted.

Sadeddinov also noted, the incoming complaints and appeals will be considered at the meeting of the task force. According to him, these complaints are mostly related to the problems of lawyers currently passing exams.
