The graduates of the Baku Turkish lyceum �Turkish Theology Fund (Dainat Vaqfi) showed best results in the entrance exams for 2005-2006 academic years, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan told Trend.
43 of 46 graduates of 2005 entered different universities of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia. 10 graduates of the lyceum collected 650 points, 19 вЂ" more than 600 points. Orkhan Salmanli, a graduate of the lyceum, was the most successful among all 100,000 school-leavers collecting 679 points.
The Lyceum was founded in 1994 with support from the Baku State University. In 2001 17 of 18 graduates entered the universities, while in 2002 they numbered 43 of 44, in 2003 44 of 46, and in 2004 39 graduates of 40 became students. 4 students with more than 650 points receive presidential scholarship.
