Allahshukur Pashazada, the chairman of the Department of Caucasian Moslems (DCM), decided not to address to Eliah II, the Catholikos-Patriarch of All Georgia, on case of missed mullah, the resident of Sadakhli village, Marneuli region of Georgia, Akif Agayev, the head of the press-service of the DCM, told Trend.

According to Agayev, there is no necessity in involving of the Georgian religious leader into the case as it is in the focus of attention of the Georgian law-enforcement bodies.

“If the appropriate Georgian bodies were not engaged in the case, Pashazada would surely set to. The Azerbaijani prisoner of war, detained by Armenians, was released after Pashazada’s address to Garegin II, the Catholikos of all Armenia,” Agayev noted.

The relatives and close friends of Sadraddin Palangov, the missed resident of the Sadakhli village, Marneuli region of Georgia, addressed to the DCM chairman with request to call on Eliah II to help in the revealing of the case.
