The Azerbaijani female national volleyball team will have the first match of the European Championship with Poland the in Croatia on 17 September.
On 18 September they will play with the Romanians, then with the Germans. On 21 September Azerbaijani volleyball players will meet with the team of Serbia and Montenegro. The Azerbaijanis will complete the team competitions with match against Croatia. They are due to rank one of the firsts in sub-group to participate in the next round
Russia, Dutch, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Turkey will struggle for play-off in other group.
