Norway is interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in educational field. The perspectives of this cooperation are being discussed in the framework of the current visit of the Norwegian Centre on Cooperation in Educational Sphere representatives to Baku, the Embassy of Norway to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The delegation is headed by Arne Haugen, Helge Skugstat and Mrs. Ingweld Brok. The delegation held a number of meetings with the leading persons of the Oil Academy, the Baku State University, the Khazar University, the University of Languages and other higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan. During the meetings the possibilities for setting up direct links, exchange of students and teachers and etc. were considered.
The delegation plans also to meet with the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov, the Embassy reported. The visit will finish on 27 October.
