“The next meeting of the working group of chairmen of state bodies and law-defendants will be held on the eve of signing of decree on pardon by Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, on Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day,” law-defender Chingiz Ganiyev told Trend.
“The address to Ali Husseynov, the head of the working group, says that holding of the meeting is regarded expedient on the eve of the pardon. There is necessity of common agreement on inclusion of names of some political prisoners into the list. The meeting is planned in mid-December,” he added.
It should be mentioned that the meeting will focus on the two lists presented to CE. One includes 107 people, other 43. 71 people have been released so far.
