“The Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural resources Ministry addressed to the State Veterinary Service to consider raising of the ban imposed on flowing due to bird flu,” Sadagat Mammadova, the head of the Division of the Ministry, told Trend.
According to Mammadova, the prolongation of the ban will depend on the conclusion of the Veterinary Service. “Russia and Turkey have raised the ban on flowing. It is not excluded that Azerbaijan will also take similar step, as the Veterinary Service has not revealed existence of bird flu in the country,” she added.
On 11 November the Ministry decided to prolong the ban till mid-December.
