On Thursday the Central Health Department organized event on handing over insulin to 217 diabetes-diseased children registered in Baku under the financial aid of the Heydar Aliyev Fundation at the initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of the Fundation.
Attending the event were Vurgun Muradov, the chief doctor of the Endocrine Dispensary, Leyla Seyidbayova, the head of the Central Health Department, as well as representatives of the Health Ministry, Trend reports.
According to Seyidbayov, the medicines presented to children are envisaged for one month use. One medicine costs 210,000 old manats or 42 new manats.
The medicines are granted to teenagers and similar events are planned to be held in the following months, Seyidbayova underlined.
