Misir Mardanov, the Azerbaijani Education Minister, instructed the chiefs of the education departments of Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron to raise the problems existing at secondary schools shortly. The problems of the secondary schools were considered at the meeting of the Minister with the chiefs of the education departments of Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron, the Ministry told Trend.
Minister expressed dissatisfaction about low attendance by upperclassmen, inactivity of the control mechanism, serious mistakes made by head masters. According to Mardanov, just these facts arouse dissatisfy among society. The Minister also required from the heads of the education departments not to allow money collection under the pretext of fund.
