The Azerbaijani taekwondo championship, started at the Sport Palace on Friday, holds record on the number of the participants in the competition.
Fighting of 527 sportsmen at the championship is a new achievement, Fuzuli Musayev, the vice-President of the National federation, told Trend.
The current championship left behind the last one regarded as record on the number of participants,Musayev underlined.
If the number of the adult teakwondoists fighting at the competition comprises 206, the number of the juniors makes up 321.
