A group of pilgrims got into car accident in Syria formed by religious community of Abu Bakr mosque

A group of pilgrims got into the car accident in Syria was formed by the religious community of Abu Bakr mosque, the State Committee on Religious Establishments told Trend.

They received visa through the Caucasus Moslem Board and did not bear relation with tourist firms Karvan and Tur.

There were 26 Azerbaijani pilgrims on the bus crashed near Khamakh , Syria. Rafig Babayev, the head of the group, died as a result of the car accident. The driver received medical aid. The State Committee set communications with other groups and asked Haji Telman, the head of the group of pilgrims from Nakhchivan, to take care of the passengers got into the accident, place them at hotel, and then dispatch to Baku through Nakhchivan.
