In early March the meeting of the working group, consisted of the experts of CE and Azerbaijan, will discuss the problems in the Azerbaijani legal system, Javid Husseynov, the head of the Administration of the Legal Council, told Trend .
The major topics will be issues related to the Presidents 19 January 2006 decree on modernization of the Azerbaijani legal system, holding of exams to vacant places of judges, analysis of the activities of the current judicial manpower, preparation of the Code of ethic conduct of judges.
The working group will hold exchange of opinions around concrete projects. The meeting will adopt the Code of ethic consuct of judges, drawn up by local and European experts taking into consideration of the Consultative Council of the Euopean Judges, and make a decision on sending of the document to the Milli Majlis [Parliament] for official approval.
