Education Ministry plans to dispatch 1,300 teachers to remote rural schools in 2006

The Azerbaijani Education Ministry plans to dispatch 1,300 teachers to remote rural schools in 2006, the Ministry told Trend.

The Ministry intends to hold agitation among the graduates and draw up their data base in 2006 to speed up the implementation of the program on peopleware (2005-2009). The Ministry also plans to submit proposals to the Azerbaijani government on issue of privileges to the people from this category soon.

It should be mentioned that the Ministry dispatched 941 people to remote rural schools in the first year of the implementation of the program. Around 7,000 teachers are envisaged to be dispatched to remote rural schools within the program.
