A group of judges and employees of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice has completed their visit to South Carolina (USA) within the frames of the educational program on the judicial practices and administration, head of Azerbaijan Ministry` s of Justice organizational- analytical department, Azer Jafarov told Trend.
The major aim of the visit was to introduce American justice and judicial system to the group of 9 Azerbaijani lawyers and increase their experience in the field. Lawyers met with the members of the Supreme and Federal courts and administrators of Charlston and Colombia in the course of their visit. They also visited judicial procedures.
While there are some debates held on judicial practice in Azerbaijan, it is highly positive for our lawyers to get acquainted with the American judicial system. Significant part of the visit consisted of comments made by the lawyers on the judicial matters to the South Carolinian mass media, Jafarov said.
