Heads of human rights commissions from the leading countries of the world will arrive to Azerbaijan in September- October to study the human rights situation in the country, head of the permanent commission on human rights in Milli Mejlis, Rabiyat Aslanova told Trend.
Head of human rights commissions from CIS, East and West Europe will be included into the delegation. A large meeting will take place in Azerbaijan. A bulky report on works conducted by the State bodies in Azerbaijan on protection of the human rights and freedoms will be send to US State Department and a number of international organizations, she said.
Azerbaijani side has issued an invitation. Our aim is to invite them so they could get acquainted with the situation in the country, Rabiyat said.
