Vahid Azerbaijan TV channel (VA TV) has started broadcast at the initiative of representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Babak Azeri and Teymur Eminbayli through internet from Tuesday, Trend reports quoting Eminbayli. At present the TV channel broadcasts one program a week via information site www.azadtrРёbun.net. It will have own independent internet site in the future.
The goal of VA TV is to inform Azerbaijanis living in different parts of the world and the world community on our national problems. The TV channel will propagandize the idea of United Azerbaijan through broadcasting of the programs based on historic facts. The main line of the activities of the TV channel is to defense and strengthen our statehood, develop democracy in the country, set close relations with our compatriots living in Borchaly [Georgia] and Darband [Russia]. The programs of VA TV are planned to be broadcasted through satelite to satisfy the requirement of our compatriots densily living in South [Iran] and North Azerbaijan, Borchaly and Darband, Eminbayli stressed.
Audience can listen to Azerbaijani songs, watch plays and movies through VA TV. The programs of VA TV will be broadcasted in Azerbaijani, Swedish and English, as well sent to libraries, officials, international organizations in DVD format.
