Azeri Health Ministry officials are invited to practical work in Turkey within the framework of В"Reproduction health and family planning in AzerbaijanВ" program by American charity organization ACQUIRE at USAIDs financial support.
Trend reports with reference to Samaya Mamedova, head of press service of the Ministry of Health, within the framework of the project a group of Azeri experts headed by deputy health minister Elsever Agayev will stay in Turkey April 16 through 22.
Azeri officials are scheduled to meet with employees of Turkish Health Ministry, Parliament and Family Planning Association.
Azeri delegation includes deputy minister Mr Agayev, head of international relations with the Ministry Samir Abdullayev, Director of Gynecology and Midwifery Institute Faiza Aliyeva, coordintor of Mother and child project Tarana Tagizadeh, etc.
Presentation of " Reproduction health and family planning in Azerbaijan" was held in July 2005 in Baku; the project includes such actions as workshops on rising the skill level of doctors and nurses, sale of contraception products and other medications at reduced prices, education work among the population, raising the quality of administration of regional network of hospitals and clinics, etc.
