There are no perspectives for Islamic revolution in Azerbaijan and every attempt in that direction will contradict the constitution of the state, the head of the state committee on work with religious structures, Rafik Aliyev told at his meeting with the second secretary of the US embassy in Azerbaijan, Paul Nerainm, Trend reports.
The meeting included exchange of opinions on current religious situation in Azerbaijan and about existing problems in that area. There are some radical extremist groups in the country, however, government keeps their activity under the control, Aliyev said.
Nerain has expressed his concern regarding some publications in mass media about the formation of different religious groups in the country.
