1,840 entrants struggle for 47 vacant places in Turkish varsities

1,840 entrants from Azerbaijan are struggling for 47 places in 12 prestigious Turkish universities at examinations led April 22 by State Commission for Students Admission of Azerbaijan (SCSA), Trend reports.

Maleyka Abbaszadeh, SCSA chairman, said at the briefing that the examinations were organized in Baku and Nakhchivan and supervised by Turkish teachers and experts. Entrants gaining necessary point still should pass the selection to get admitted.

SCSA chairman said also the entrants accepted to Turkish universities lose their right to partake in entrance examinations to Azeri universities.
