The court case of the chairman and co-chairman of the youth organization Yeni Fikir has been postponed by the Criminal court. The trial will continue on May 1, Trend reports.
Accused, Ruslan Bashirov, Ramin Gajiyev and Sail Nuriyev asked for a delay, the presiding judge, Tofik Bashirov announced to the court. The requested is aimed to restore participation in trial of their previous lawyers, Osman Kazimov and Elchin Gambarov. The judge decided to stop the trial while the demand for delay is reviewed.
Both lawyers refused to participate in the process protesting against its closed nature. New lawyers have been provided by the court; however, they were declined by the accused.
