Materials on case of Dalk Faruku, member of Al-Qaeda, were dispatched from Investigation Board of Public Prosecutor's office to the Court for Heinous Crimes, Trend reports quoting Gasan Mirzoyev, investigator for especially important affairs of Investigation Board of Public Prosecutor's office.
Due to Dalka Faruks witnessing on other prosecuted members of Al-Qaeda and helping the investigation, his case is tried individually.
Faruk is charged with crimes establishment of military formations not allowed by legislation (Article 279 of Criminal Code of Azerbaijan Republic).
The court officials said no judge yet was appointed to take this case.
15 members of the group were sentenced April 19 to different penalties.
