The Ministries of Justice of Azerbaijan and Lithuania cooperate at high level. The meeting held between Azerbaijani justice minister Fukrat Mammadov and the secretary-general of Lithuanian Justice Ministry Paulius Koverovas focused on cooperation, Trend reports.
Noting the importance of the visit of Lithuanian president to Azerbaijan, Mammadov told that the friendly relations between the two countries strengthened over the past years. According to him, the signing of the interstate document in Vilnius on legal assistance further developed the relations between justice bodies.
At the same time, Koverovas stressed that Lithuania attached importance to its cooperation with Azerbaijan. He highly assessed the results of the reforms held in court-legal system of Azerbaijan.
The prospects of cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
