A preparatory session was held in Azerbaijan Court on Heinous Crimes on the criminal case of the band headed by the former senior official of Head Investigation Department of the Azeri Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov. At the hearing, headed by Judge Ali Seyfaliyev, lawyers of offended party have submitted a petition, Trend reports.
Lawyer Kamandar Nasibov demanded return the case to preliminary hearing. Tahir Huseynov, son of killed by Mammadovs band AFFA vice-president Fatullah Huseynov, said The Ministry of National Security had not provided him official information on the investigation completion. He added that it is necessary to clarify some aspects of the case and therefore return it to preliminary investigation.
The preliminary session of the court on the case of Haji Mammadov and his 25 helpers has been held the third consecutive day.
