Azeri mount-climbers off to ascend to Lenin Peak

The team of Azeri mount-climbers, headed by president of Republican Mountaineering Club Saridan Mursakulov, headed to Pamirs to ascend to Lenin Peak (7,134m high).

Mursakulov told Trend the team included Akif Rustamov, which has an experience of subduing Khan-Tengri, Sirkhan Mamedov and Aleksey Khandoshka that replaced Faig Mursagulov.

It is suggested that during the expedition Azeri team will be joined by colleagues from Kyrgyzstan and other countries, especially since the mount-climbing season is opened.
