On July 12, it was held a meeting on criminal case of the chairman of the youth movement Yeni Fikir (New Idea) and his deputies at the Azerbaijan Heinous Crimes Court. The judge Tofig Pashayev made a sentence on their cases, Trend reports.
The chairman of Yeni Fikir Ruslan Bashirli was sentenced to 7 years at the prison of serious regime and his deputy Ramin Tagiyev 4 years. Other deputy was sentenced to 5 years with 3-year period of probation, taking into consideration his health condition.
Said Nuriyev noted that he will fight by the end. There isnt any doubt in the international organizations that we are political prisoners and within a short time, my colleagues will be released, he told.
The head of Yeni Fikir was arrested on August 4 of last year for forcible approach to the government and illegal entrepreneurship.
The advocate of R.Bashirli Osman Kazimov noted that he will submitt appeal complaint about the resolution of court.
