Azerbaijan secures the second place on number of tourists resting in Georgia.
Trend s special correspondent reports with reference to tourism and resorts department with the Ministry of Economy of Georgia, 26,479 tourists from Azerbaijan visited Georgia in 1Q2006.
First place in the respect is secured by Turkey, represented by 30,548 citizens. Third place is secured by Armenia (25,607).
Among European countries, Germany secures the first place on number of tourists visiting Georgia (1,528).
In total, 119.759 tourists visited Georgia in 1Q2006.
