On July 13, the USA Embassy in Azerbaijan disseminated a statement reflecting the attitude towards the resolution of court related with three leaders of youth organization Yeni Fikir (New Idea).
It was stated in the statement that a right to equal protection before the law, a presumption of innocence, and an impartial hearing are fundamental principles for all democratic societies.
The USA Embassy urges the Government to uphold the highest standards of criminal justice and human rights.
