Executives of the World Food Program are going to extend cooperation with Azerbaijan under В"Food Program for EducationВ". Officials of Azeri Ministry of Education told Trend such cooperation prospects had been discussed at the meeting between Education Minister Misir Mardanov and WFP representative to ;.;Azerbaijan Rahman Chodri and program specialist Karina Smith.
Mr Chodri said the program now covers 5,300 children of primary levels in 98 schools throughout the country. The organization plans include raising number of covered schools to 700 and that of schoolchildren to 60k, WFP official said.
WFP also plans to organize monitoring system in the program-covered schools.
