Quota allocated for Azerbaijan in next Haj season was defined

For the next season of pilgrimage of Moslems to Haj, Azerbaijan was allocated 4500 places, which are 800 places more than the pilgrimage of last year, Haji Azad, the head of the department of foreign relations of Caucasus Moslem Department (CMD), told Trend.

The agreement on this issue was reached during the visit of the chairman of CMD Seykhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade to Saudi Arabia and during the talks with the minister of Haj affairs of Saudi Arabia Fuad Bin Abdulsalim al-Farsi. The sides reached an agreement on allocation of 200 more places for foreign citizens living in Azerbaijan.

According to the chairman of CMD, the prices of the pilgrimage were made several changes. A majority of pilgrims will leave for Haj with buses and it will take $ 1350 (in last season - $1320), and the pilgrims desiring to visit with aircraft Boing 737 will have to pay $2200 ($2100).

From July 18, CMD will start receiving the documents of persons desiring to visit Haj.
