The authorities of the Board of the Azerbaijani Congress of Ukraine have been expanded, Trend special correspondent in Ukraine reports citing press attachГ© of the organization, Garoglan Tagiyev.
Tagiyev said that the Board of the organization can consider the issues that were to be resolved in Majlis [Assembly] of the Congress.
The resolution was taken by delegates of the 3rd Report conference of the Azerbaijani Congress of Ukraine, which was held in Kiev on 16 July. Oktai Efendiyev was re-elected the chairman of the organization.
The conference took a report by the chairman of the Congress, as well as injected changed in the Charter of the organization.
The Azerbaijani Congress of Ukraine is a voluntary, self-governed and independent organization, which enjoys Al-Ukrainian status. Founded in March 1999 the Congress has its regional offices in 27 administrative centers of Ukraine and unites approximately 0.5 million Azerbaijani community of Ukraine.
