An official reception was given at Park Inn hotel of Baku on 20 July on the occasion of the national press day of Azerbaijan. Attending the reception were official of the Azerbaijani Presidents Apparat, representatives of press, public organization and foreign embassies, Trend reports.
The chairman of the Press Council, Aflatun Amashov, spoke about the foundation of the nationlapress in Azerbaijan on 22 July 1875, post period and deveopemtn of press in the years of indepedence.
Adviser to Turkish Ambassador, Bulent Ugur, congratulated the Azerbaijani media on the national holiday and wished all successes.
