During the meeting of the Head Police Department of Baku as a result of six-month work, the chief of the department Maharram Aliyev expressed his concern over the issue that several crimes still remain unclosed. Aliyev complained about the law breaches in the activity of capital police, especially registration departments, Trend reports.
He noted for this reason, the chiefs of registration and passport departments of Khatai, Sabail and Binagadi districts were punished. Yashar Aliyev, the deputy chief of the Baku Head Police Department, presented the statistics related with the criminal facts over last six months.
According to him, 4023 crimes have been noted during this period, including 433 heinous and special heinous. As comprised to the same period of last year, these crimes have increased by 19.5% and 29.3%. Aliyev noted that the robbery cases have decreased from 62 to 57. and the intentional assassination has increased from 32 to 33. During this period, about 100 criminal groups have been detained.
