Caucasian Moslems Department is dissatisfied with delay of claim against SCWRO

The Caucasian Moslems Department (CMD) is dissatisfied with the non-completion of the court process in connection with the clime raised against the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations (SCWRO) of Azerbaijan for about 4 months, Mukhtar Mustafayev, the juridical representative of CMD, told Trend.

According to the advocate, the reason for making court resolution is the provision of the request of the court for the conducting of the expertise of SCWRO. The request is related with the issue that whether the sanctuary place belongs to religion. Ensuring the request of the other side, the court has already prolonged the work of the court, he told.

The reason for CMDs raising claim against SCWRO is related wit the issue that the legislation has been broken and a sanctuary place Shekh Zahid was created in Lankaran district without the representative of CMD.

The preparatory meeting was held on April 4, 2006, and then the above-mentioned request was ensured and the work of court was stopped for non-defined period.
