On Agust 2, in the court of Nasimi district of Baku city, a preparatory court session will be held on the criminal case of ex-finance minister of Azerbaijan Fikrat Yusifov, Trend reports quoting Nasimi district court.
Fikrat Yusifov is accused in accordance with article 278 of Azerbaijan Criminal Code (effort to forcibly capture the power).
The former finance minister is accused of the criminal relations with ex-economic development minister Farhad Aliyev, former president of Azpetrol Croup of Companies Rafig Aliyev, ex-minister of health Ali Insanov and others.
The initial investigations on this criminal case were held by the Ministry of National Security.
