Sheik-ul-Islam Hajji Allakhshukur Pashazadeh, chairman of Caucasian Moslems Board (CMB), congratulated Hidayat Orujov on the occasion of his appointment chairman of the State Committee for work with Religious Associations of Azerbaijan.
Trend reports on July 28 Pashazadeh came to the State Committee and met with Orujov. The meeting was held behind closed doors and later the Committee press service said the visit aimed at congratulating the official with his appointment. CMB chairman, in turn, refused to comment on the totals of the meeting.
On July 25 the President of Azerbaijan has signed an order on dismissing Rafik Aliyev from chairman position in said committee and appointing Hidayat Orujov new chairman.
