Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Minister of Ecology and natural Resources Husseyn Bagirov, made a work visit to Turkey at the invitation of Turkish Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Osman Pepe.Trend reports with reference to the Ministrys release, during the meeting Turkish minister said the development is observed between the countries in all the spheres including environment protection.
Head of Ecology Ministry Husseyn Bagirov said cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey was extending; he informed his Turkish peer of the projects executed in ecology sphere in Azerbaijan.
Bagirov said ecological problems are of a global nature and cooperation with neighbor countries, in particular Turkey, is acquiring some great meaning last time.
Within the framework of the visit ministers signed a document comprising the system of actions on mutual cooperation for years 2006-2007 in accordance with environment cooperation agreement signed July 2004 in Baku.
