Society Materials 7 August 2006 17:57 (UTC +04:00)

The conception of agreed joint coordination between the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas to be developed in different countries worldwide until 2007, Javanshir Valiyev, the Chief of the Department of Propaganda, Information and Analytics of the State Committee on the Work with Azerbaijanis living abroad told Trend.

The development of the conception stipulates the protocol on agreed joint coordination between Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas signed on July 7, 2006 in Antalya, as a consequence of the working of the Forum of Azerbaijani and Turkish Delegations of the World.

The work will be carried out jointly with the ministries, departments and different experts`
participation, with all those who showed their interest toward it. The variant to be developed will be submitted to both Azerbaijani and Turkish parties with an active participation of intellectual people.

According to J. Valiyev, the significance of the both Diasporas` efficient joint coordination strategy and their influence on public opinion and authorities in different countries are also determined by the state and national interests of both sister nations Azerbaijan and Turkey. These interests are coincided with each other on the world arena. This important factor triggers the necessity for joint and fruitful cooperation between the two Diasporas. As a result of such cooperation the representative of the State Committee marked the fact that 150, 000 Azerbaijanis raising flags and transparencies took part in the march of Turks in Berlin. That speaks that the future measures to be taken by Azerbaijanis in America, Europe and Russia will be even larger in number and more weighty.
