On August 10, the court passed a resolution on Haji Mammadovs being questioned by the Investigation Department of Azerbaijani National Security Ministry (NSM) in relation with the assassination of the editor-in-chief of Monitor magazine Elmar Huseyinov. The court process on the criminal cases of the former senior official of the Head Investigation Department of Azerbaijani Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and the criminal band led by him is chaired by the judge of Heinous Crimes Court Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports
The court passed this resolution on base of the appeal of NSM, in which it is stated the necessity of verifying the information provided by Mammadov about the assassination of Elmar Huseyionv.
Mammadov told the court that his eyesight has become worse, and in relation with this, he asked that court to postpone the court session. The court postponed the session until August 14.
On this day, Mammadov will answer the questions of advocates.
