A series of cultural events are planned to be held by the end of the year within the Russian Year in Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The program of measures includes tours of the Russian Academic Theatre, the Great Dramatic Theatre named after Tovstonogov, Tatar State Theatre named after G. Kamal, performance of jazz collections of Igor Butman and Sergey Jilina, tours of the Moscow Youth Audience Theatre, ballet of B. Eyfman and other events.
2007 was announced as the Russian Year in Azerbaijan, and 2006 has been declared the Year of Azerbaijan in Russia.
