Azerbaijan and United States expand their co-operation with regard to the education. The prospects of the educational co-operation were discussed at the meeting held between the Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov and the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne E. Derse, Trend reports with reference to the Education Ministry of Azerbaijan.
More than 2,000 Azeri students received education in the prestigious higher educational institutions of the USA, the Minister said, highly assessing the importance of this fact in the development of Azerbaijan. In addition, Mardanov informed the Ambassador about the State Program for Education of Youth Abroad.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the programs held by the U.S. Department of State on the education in Azerbaijan.
