The State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad co-operates with the Co-ordination Council of Azerbaijani Youths in Moscow to hold agitation work amongst the Azerbaijani youths living in Russia, the Head of the Department of the State Committee for Russia Nazim Garakhanov told Trend.
He stressed that the Co-ordination Council of Azerbaijani Youths in Moscow hold an event in the University of Friendship of Peoples named after Patris Lumumba through the support from the State Committee and Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow. At the time of the event, there were organized exhibitions with regard to the economy, history, culture, music and kitchen of Azerbaijan. The event brought together the Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov, Deputies of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Executive Director of the Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis Eldar Guliyev, representatives of the Azerbaijani Embassy, State Committee, as well as more than 50 students.
The State Committee plans to, in co-operation with the Co-ordination Council of Azerbaijani Youths in Moscow, create provincial departments for the integration of the Azerbaijani youths to the Russian society. In addition, he underlined that Co-ordination Council of Azerbaijani Youths holds a series of meetings and closely co-operates with the State Committee.
