The Georgian Ministry of Education and Science have translated the original Georgian textbooks into Azeri, Armenian and Russian languages. All new original textbooks, worked out by the Georgian scientists, will be translated for non-Georgian schools, Trend Special Correspondent in Georgia reports with reference the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science.
Translating the original Georgian textbooks into Azeri, Armenian and Russian languages took place based on the opinions of the teachers from Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia. The translation is sponsored by the Georgian Industrial Group allocating 190,000 lari to the project and Bank Respublika allocating 87,000 lari.
In 2006-2007 academic years, the project is directed to 10 Azerbaijani, 10 Russian and 10 Armenian schools.
