Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan has left for Latvia today, a source in the Apparatus of the Constitutional Court told Trend.
The aim of the visit of the head of the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court is to take part in the event on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Latvia. Mr. Abdullayev is expected to hold a number of meetings within the visit.
The visit will last till December 10.
Provisions and articles of the Constitutional Courts of Germany and Latvia were used during preparing the bill of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan.
