Jagger's daughter meets anti-fur campaigners

(contactmusic.com) - After years of taunting animal rights protestors, sir Mick Jagger's socialite daughter JADE was unusually quiet when she met People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) vice-president Dan Mathews recently.

Jewellery designer Jade, 35, is known in the British media for her love of fur and in the past has welcomed attention from animal rights activists, saying, "I have no fear of paintball shooters. I've been trying to get their attention for years. Come and get me." After Mathews recently met Jade at a London function, he sent her an anti-fur video and a note. The note reads, "I wish we could have spoken more. You seem a decent person and if you took a few minutes to investigate the real reason behind fur, perhaps you'd see it as more than just a fabric."
