(askmen.com) - Nicole Kidman has said being in love makes her look beautiful.
The 'Cold Mountain' actress - whose husband Keith Urban is in rehab for alcohol addiction - has claimed that love is her beauty secret.
Nicole said: "It's kind of nice to be loved. If you are loved, you tend to glow."
The star, the ex-wife of Tom Cruise, also thinks you have to experience sadness to feel happy again.
She said: "One of the greatest things about happiness is that you need the contrast. You need sadness to know what it is. You only really start to understand that as you get older."
The 39-year-old actress doesn't know whether the rest of her life will be happy or sad but she is looking forward to the surprise.
Nicole added: "Who knows what the future holds, but that's the beauty of life. You never know what's around the corner. You just hold on tight for the ride and keep smiling."
