(news.sawf.org) - Oprah Winfrey may be making news these days for building a 40 million dollar school in South Africa, but it seems that she still has a soft spot for white kids.
The talk show queen, along with building the school for impoverished African girls, has also been shelving out her millions for some ultra-white establishments.
It turns out that Winfrey made a rather large donation in the tune of 1 million dollars to Connecticut based exclusive finishing school Miss Porter's, were her nieces are currently studying, and where the annual tuition is 38,000 dollars.
Miss Porter's graduates include former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, as well some of the USA's most famous families вЂ" the Vanderbilts and the Rockerfellers.
Apart from Miss Porter's, Winfrey has also opened up her wallets for Chicago's Lake Shore Academy, whose student body is pretty much entirely white.
Oprah recently hit out at people who criticized her decision to build the 40 million dollar school in the African Nation, saying that the kids in that country were much more appreciative of the gift of education than American kids.
